The maintenance of the Generator set radiator needs to pay attention to the following aspects. Such as regular cleaning, inspection and repair, coolant management, and so on. I hope the following introduction can provide users with reference.
1、 Regularly clean the radiator of the Generator set
External cleaning:
Use low-pressure hot water and cleaning agent to spray from the front of the radiator towards the fan direction to remove dust, oil, and debris from the surface of the radiator.
If there are stubborn deposits on the surface of the generator set radiator, the radiator can be removed, immersed in hot alkaline water for about 20 minutes, and then rinsed clean with hot water.
Internal cleaning:
Regularly drain the coolant inside the radiator, check and clean the scale and impurities.
Use acid solution for internal descaling, pay attention to the temperature and concentration of the solution, and avoid corroding the radiator.
After descaling, neutralize the acid solution with alkaline solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
2、 Generator set radiator inspection
Leakage inspection:
Regularly inspect the radiator of the generator set for any water leakage, especially at the welding and connection points.
The radiator can be checked for leaks using compressed air or water filling methods.
3、 Generator set radiator coolant management
Quality of coolant:
Regularly check the quality of the coolant to ensure that it does not deteriorate or corrode.
Use coolant that meets the manufacturer's requirements to avoid damaging the radiator with inferior coolant.
Generator set radiator coolant level
Regularly check the coolant level to ensure that the coolant is sufficient.
If the coolant is insufficient, it should be replenished in a timely manner to avoid overheating of the radiator due to water shortage.
The maintenance of the generator set radiator requires regular inspection, cleaning, and repair, while also paying attention to the management of the coolant and other related matters to ensure the normal operation and prolonged use of the radiator.
