Last time, we introduced three products in the Huaquan Electric Water Pump Set series, including self-priming pumps, centrifugal pumps, and double suction pumps. Next, we will introduce mixed flow pumps and multi-stage pumps. These three types of pumps each have their own characteristics, with different working principles, mechanisms, processes, etc., which determine their different usage scenarios.
Mixed flow pump
Mixed flow pump is a type of pump between centrifugal pump and axial flow pump, with a specific speed higher than centrifugal pump but lower than axial flow pump, generally between 300-500. This type of pump works by the combined effect of centrifugal force and thrust generated by the rotation of the impeller, and is therefore also known as a diagonal flow pump. There are two main types of mixed flow pumps, including horizontal (snail) mixed flow pumps and vertical (guide) mixed flow pumps.
Multi stage pump
A multi-stage pump has two or more impellers, which are combined together to enable the pump to suction and pressurize water in stages and stages. The working principle of a multi-stage pump is to increase the head of water step by step through the collaborative action of multiple impellers. This enables multi-stage pumps to lift water to higher positions, with head adjustable as needed, providing greater water pressure.
